Backflow device are required to be installed on all connection to Perth’s drinking water supply. They are required so that if any unexpected change in water flow occurs then our drinking water is protected from contamination or chemical pollution. It is important that all backflow devices are tested and maintained on a regular basis and are legally required to be tested every 12 months. Failure to maintain or test devices will result in non-compliance notice and may results in fines. To remind our clients of when there backflow testing is due, Hilton Plumbing will send you a reminder email.
